DAVID, Ohio, BA, MBA. Stutter age 3, mainly blocks. Several other major therapy programs that did not solve the problem. Has been in program for two years but no coaching until now. No bad incidents for months but still choppy under pressure. Working on short-link-stop and pronunciation and smiling.

DANIEL, 20, California, very severe stutter-on-every-word in all conversations. Urged him to hum into all words and link to a stop in our first Skype a week ago. No progress because he hesitates after every hum and then blocks the words. In drills today, he hummed-linked-stopped no problem. Told him that he MUST do this 24/7, or he'll continue to block most words.

240208: SERGEY,, 26, Moscow, stutter age 3, 70% blocks, 10% repeats, 20% grimaces. Has worked a lot on his own, down to 5% bad. Talks 5 hours day as Team Leader. Is RA and doing 2 MTT’s. Still choppy. Work on C-4 and Short-Link-Stop. Will meet in 2 wks. Works during SAM Mtgs.

231226: JOHN, 23, Chicago, medical student. Came to us in 2019 but dropped out; came back in 2020, and again now. Stutter age 8 to 75% of conversations, half or so of words. Says he has improved a lot, but still stutters, repeats, blocks and grimaces quite a bit. Drill Speech Plan and C-4.

2231227: SERGEY, 26, Moscow, stutter age 3, 70% blocks, 10% repeats, 20% grimaces. 2nd Skype. He has worked hard on his own before Skyping and has eliminated most of the problem. No bad incidents last week and only thinking about 20% of words. Drill Speech Plan. Modify it to Slow-Short-Link-Stop. We work on slowing his speech, shortening his increments of words and increasing length of stops. We read aloud also.

240108: JOHN, 23, Chicago, stutter age 8 to 75% of words in more than half of conversations; also has obsessive-compulsive disorder; slaps leg and shuts eyes when speaking, mainly to groups, authorities but some to family. Has been with us briefly and quit a couple times; just returned; has read several of my books. This is our 2nd Skype; only one bad incident in past two weeks. We drill his Speech Plan Short-Link-Stop and add Pronunciation.

240107: ARIANE, Barundi-Ethiopia, getting Masters. Stutter age 4 to 70% of words in one-third of conversations, mostly reps. This is our 2nd Skype. She had one bad incident talking to sister. We drill LINKINIG hard and her full speech plan, Short-Link-Stop-Smile-Slow.
